2020/2021 Open PTO Committee and Board Roles/Responsibilities

|BOARD POSITIONS- 2 yr term|
|Treasurer||Manage the Budget and Monies for the PTO. Attend PTO meetings and confer with PTO Board on budgetary and other matters.||All year active, involvement on daily/weekly basis. Can be busy at times||virtual and in person|
|Secretary||Take meeting minutes and distribute to the Board and associated members. Manage most aspects of communication ie. Website, forms etc.. Attend PTO meetings and confer with PTO Board on budget and other matters.

|COMMITTEE COORDINATOR ROLES|
|CRS Class Parents||Assign class parents for each grade class, coordinate which class is responsible for parties/crafts, and encourage class parents to communicate with their classes regarding important PTO and community events.||All school year, active mostly in beginning of year and periodically thru-ought||virtual and in person|
|CRS Library Parents||Assign library parents on a monthly basis coordinating with your child’s library class schedule helping with books, kids and the librarian.||All school year, with monthly/quarterly schedules produced.
|CRS Lunch Parents||Assign lunch parents on a monthly basis coordinating with lunch staff and school calendar.||All school year, with quarterly schedules produced.
|CRS Me and My Dance||Develop and run the annual Me and My Dance for CRS- DJ, fun and games…. Coordinate with Principal and LLE Me and My Dance coordinator||Usually in the Spring for 3 months of prep and event itself||Virtual and in person|
|Demarest 5K||Work with a team to set up coordinate, get sponsors, and manage Principal’s challenge and 5k/Fun Run in Spring.||Around 5 months periodically, and 4 months in Winter/spring of more involvement||Virtual and in person|
|LLE Field Day||Plan event for LLE field day, treats, etc and gather/manage volunteers to help run the field day stations.||A month or so of planning and event – in late spring||virtual and in person|
|NVD Coalition||Coordinate and meet with NVD on ongoing efforts in the community.||All school year, periodic meetings||virtual and in person|
